Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Simara. Please read it — especially the part about Simara being for reflection and wellbeing, not advice.

In short. Simara is a reflective companion for self-reflection, entertainment, and wellbeing. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it does not predict the future. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Simara, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Simara. [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL] Confirm contracting entity and incorporate Apple's standard EULA / “Licensed Application End User License Agreement” terms as required for App Store distribution.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required in the EU) to use Simara. Simara is not directed to children. [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL] Confirm minimum age per market and parental-consent requirements.

What Simara is

Simara is a calm, reflective experience that includes a one-time face anchor (“your Sima”), a daily reflective Ask, and episodic rituals — Tarot, Coffee cup readings, and Astrology (a free natal-chart view with an optional deeper AI interpretation). Reading text is generated with the help of AI.

Reflection, not advice or prediction

Simara is for self-reflection, entertainment, and wellbeing only. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it makes no predictions about future events or outcomes. Readings reflect your own present energy and the details you share. If you need professional help, please consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Credits, purchases & subscriptions

Simara runs on a freemium credit economy. Some readings (for example, an Ask) consume credits; certain features may require a subscription. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat; we never see or store your card details.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and are managed in your Apple account settings.
  • Pricing, credit amounts, and what each reading costs may change; current details are shown in the app.

[REVIEW WITH COUNSEL] Insert binding pricing/auto-renewal disclosures, refund policy (noting Apple handles App Store refunds), EU/UK withdrawal-right language for digital content, and credit expiry rules.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse Simara. You agree not to: break the law; attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service; upload images of people without their consent; or use Simara to harass others or to make decisions about people that could cause them harm.

Content & intellectual property

Simara, its name, design, and software are owned by us and protected by law. The reflective text generated for you is yours to keep and share for personal use. [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL] Define ownership/licensing of AI-generated output, your licence to operate/improve the service, and any user-content licence.

Shared links

If you create an anonymous public link to a reading, you're responsible for choosing to share it. We strip your name and personal inputs before sharing, but once a link is public, anyone with the URL may view it. Disclaimers

Simara is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that readings are accurate, complete, or suited to any particular purpose. [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL] Insert jurisdiction-appropriate warranty disclaimers and consumer-law carve-outs.

Limitation of liability

Termination
