Delete your account & data
You can permanently delete your Simara account and everything associated with it, at any time, from inside the app. Here's exactly how — and how we can help if you're stuck.
Deletion is permanent. It cannot be undone. Your account, profile, your Sima signature, reading history, and your authentication user are all removed.
Delete from inside the app

Open Simara and go to Profile
Tap the Profile tab. You'll need to be signed in to the account you want to delete.

Select “Delete account”
Scroll to the account section and tap Delete account.

Confirm
Read the confirmation, which explains what will be removed, and confirm. This is the point of no return.

It's done
Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. The deletion cascades across your data and removes your sign-in (auth) user, so nothing is left behind on our side.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile details (name, date of birth, birth time, gender, relationship status, birth city).
- Your Sima face-anchor signature.
- Your reading history stored for cross-device sync.
- Your authentication user (the passwordless sign-in identity tied to your email).

Deleting your Simara account does not cancel an active subscription on its own. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL] Confirm and refine this guidance.

If you can't sign in or reach the delete option, email us and we'll verify your identity and process the deletion for you.
